What is a BBBEE Affidavit?

A BBBEE Affidavit is a sworn statement confirming your business’s BBBEE status level (typically for Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs) and certain Qualifying Small Enterprises (QSEs)). It is commonly used as proof of BBBEE compliance for tenders, supplier onboarding, and client requirements.

How is it calculated?

The affidavit is completed using your company details (including turnover and ownership information) and is signed in the presence of a Commissioner of Oaths. It should be renewed when it expires or when there are material changes to ownership or turnover that may affect your BBBEE status.
